You made me feel welcomed when I transferred to Ypsi in high school where I knew nobody. You never let me feel left out. The first friend that convinced my strict dad to let me hang out. One of the first of my friends to check in on me after my emergency surgery. You sat on the phone with me for a hour last year because you just felt like I was going through something…
And now you’re gone?! I just want you to call me back and yell “JUST KIDDING!!!!”

The Historic Southside Neighborhood Association had their 2nd annual tree lighting last night and they decided to invite lil ole’ me to the festivities 🤓💙 Great people, great vibes, great singing from the Ypsilanti Choral Association, and surprise visit from a guy in a Red Suit 🎅
I love my Ward for many reasons, gatherings like this happen to be at the top of my list!

At the Nov 18th, 2025 Ypsilanti City Council meeting, we presented 3 organizations with mini-grants to continue serving the youth in our city.
This, and things similar, is what brings a smile to my face and feels like a big win. My whole purpose in politics is to cultivate an environment for safe growth and ushering in the next generation to seats like mine and higher! Through these 3 organizations, and many others, I think we are in great hands for the future! 💙
