In collaboration with @avant.arte x @johnson_tsang_artist , we crafted ‘Work in Progress’ as a resin cast sculpture with a uniform matte spray finish.
The process involved tight control over mould design, shrinkage, and parting lines to keep the facial expression and porcelain texture intact, while ensuring dimensional stability across the full edition.
A production built on tolerance, texture fidelity and surface consistency.

Some projects you can explain in a sentence. This wasn’t one of them.
SVAKOM came to us with a question that didn’t have an obvious answer: build us an IP from scratch. Character, universe, story, the whole thing.
So we got @laowang1102 involved, locked ourselves in, and started from the strangest possible starting point: the human tongue. Eight thousand taste buds. The most sensitive organ we have. A whole universe hiding in something we never really think about.
That became SPARK. And four characters. And a planet. And an art toy. And a booth shaped like SPARK’s face that you literally walk into at the largest adult industry expo in Shanghai.
Part of an ongoing series where music is translated into physical form.
Inspired by Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here (1975) an album written for someone who was there, but no longer present. A tribute, a critique, a quiet ache shaped into sound. Storm Thorgerson and Hipgnosis gave that feeling a face: two businessmen shaking hands, one of them on fire. A gesture so automatic it’s become empty. A warmth so performed it burns.
“What’s the worst thing you can say to someone? Wish you were here. Because you’re not.” — Storm Thorgerson
This sculpture lives inside that paradox. The handshake that holds nothing. The presence that isn’t present. The mechanical hand reaching for the human one.
Fifty years later, in a world built on screens and surface gestures, the question still stands. Are we here? Or are we just performing our absence? A tribute to showing up. Fully. Without flames.

Ghost of Adolescence.
Not one memory. A collection of them. It lived across moments. Across versions of you. We built the world it returns to.
Together with @iconicdesignobjects we created a character that lives in the in-between. That strange, tender space where dreams still feel possible and reality hasn’t fully won yet. This is about holding onto that. Not as nostalgia, but as a way of seeing.
Shame by @cleonpeterson / produced by I-DO for @avant.arte 🤍🖤 Cleon Peterson’s ‘Shame’ captures the tension between self-awareness and external forces. We handled production from sculpt to finish: refining the pose so the weight distribution feels intentional, testing materials for a matte black finish that holds shadow without losing detail. 🔥
From Warrior to collectible.
@defqon1 is the world’s largest hard dance festival, 250K Warriors from 110+ countries per edition, one of the most dedicated fan communities on the planet. Inside their world lives The Path: a system of ranks and roles where fans become Berserkers, Guardians or Shamans. An identity earned, not given.
Working from their IP, we translated The Path into premium collectibles. Refining shapes, testing finishes and pushing production to match the intensity of the Warriors themselves.
A project we were truly proud to be part of. Thank you to the Defqon.1 team for trusting us with your world. 🖤
Every detail was engineered: the fit of the detachable tarot cards, the tolerance in the connections, the surface refinement, and the final color depth achieved through layered testing. A collectible designed to feel seamless in hand. @avant.arte x @jamesjeanart
