This week, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Ava, a Year 10 student, who joined ICB as part of her work experience. 👋
Ava has expressed a keen interest in marketing, so she naturally fit into our marketing team, where she could experience the day-to-day activities of our busy environment.
Throughout the week, we introduced her to a few marketing fundamentals, including content writing. ✒️

This is an example of a project that gave us a great opportunity to reflect on what was a truly collaborative delivery.
With multiple elements, this project highlights what can be achieved when the full ICB Group works together to provide a complete, integrated roofing solution backed by a single-system guarantee.
The process was challenging, but our team worked brilliantly together from start to finish to overcome any hurdles.

They expertly waterproofed the roof using the alwitra® Evalon VSK membrane and topped it off with a beautiful Sedum Green Roof system.
The ICB Fabrications' team also played their part by supplying and manufacturing the bespoke aluminium fascias and soffits in a Reed Green powder-coat finish. 🎨

Over in Brighton, a cottage in Hurstpierpoint village has benefited from a complete roofing solution delivered through collaboration across the ICB Group - all under a single-point warranty.
ICB Waterproofing provided the alwitra® Evalon VSK single ply membrane, while ICB Projects supplied the EVA green roof system. 🌿
ICB Fabrications manufactured bespoke aluminium elements, including TAG450 profiles to the roof and balcony, alongside hoppers, downpipes and window reveals. These were all finished in black to complement the building’s design.
The multiple solutions across the ICB Group were seamlessly installed by Johnsons Roofing, highlighting the integration of waterproofing, green roofs and fabricated aluminium to deliver a long-lasting solution. 👏

Back in 2023, ICB Projects had just completed the installation of the 70kWp Solar PV system for Beacon Hill School.
The roof was covered in 760m² of the alwitra® Evalon V single ply membrane, which was seamlessly installed by the approved contractor TG Escapes. To prepare for the Solar PV installation, ICB’s Solafix mounting system was welded directly to the membrane to provide a secure base for the solar panels.
We are really pleased with the result of this project and glad that we could help Beacon Hill School & TG Escapes achieve its A+ energy rating. ⚡

A great stop-off at the Clarke depot today, where we spotted not one… but two ICB-branded lorry trucks that have been delivering goods to our customers for over 15 years.

After delivering several CPD sessions at the Ellis Belk Associates Ltd offices, we were delighted to invite them to our Poole office.
Ellis Belk Associates and a few other local industry professionals came down for a tour of our facilities and a session on our latest RIBA-approved CPD on Solar PV. ☀️
We started the day in our ICB Fabrications unit, showcasing our laser-cutting machinery, bespoke metalwork capabilities, and the in-house expertise behind every project we deliver.
After lunch, our Technical Manager, Lorrayne, delivered our Solar PV CPD, which explored the latest industry insights and trends shaping the future of solar.

Designed by Trevlyn Tanner Architects and installed by Collier Roofing, ICB's Evalon single ply membrane and Solafix bars were used for the entire roof covering on the south-facing pitch for the installation of Solar PV Panels by ICB Projects.
The north-facing pitch had ICB's Evagreen Green Roofing system installed with Gravel Stops provided by ICB Fabrications.
Willow Grange was nominated for multiple SPRA Awards, which highlights the brilliant effort of everyone involved. 👏
