Had the pleasure of speaking with dear @gemmajanes (@sendb00ks ) on “The Choice”.
We talked about the choice to make and publish books as women, publishers, and artists — and about the privilege of being readers. About literature as a way to reclaim our lives, how it resonates with the times we live in (fragmentary prose, essays), and how books can also become anchors for a reality we must strive for — pebbles on our path toward freedom and liberation.
Thank you @massimodutti for the invitation in this beautiful space and for the thoughtful curation, alongside books selected by @librairieyvonlambert and furniture selected by Patrick Seguin and Jacques Lacoste.
Extract from our 30-minute conversation and photos, Massimo Dutti.
Personal notes for the conversation.
As the world seems to be getting crazier and crazier, I’m grateful that 2025 was such a great year.
From workshops and publications to riso printing, books, exhibitions, and fairs — here’s a small recap of what happened.

Seule présence, l’œil. Les choses. ~
Landscapes in latency, views of desire.
The sole presence, the eye. The things.”
