🎥 We had the honor of collaborating with some truly talented individuals on this film, which was created for a prestigious film festival. And guess what?
We’re thrilled to announce that we were chosen to Screen among the Best Top 10% of the submissions and won an award for it! 🥇🎉
📚 Karla’s journey began when she put pen to paper, and her dreams started to take shape. This film is a celebration of her determination and the resilience of immigrants who strive for a better life.

To the woman of my dreams: You will always be my funny Valentine. 💌
“Your looks are laughable, unphotographable,
Yet you’re my favorite work of art.”
You bring joy and laughter into my life every day!
What filmmaker doesn’t dream of making a war film?
But I never imagined that my war film would be about the story of the more than five hundred thousand men that history seems to have forgotten.
As a Latino filmmaker, bringing this story to light means everything to me. Especially in times like these, when the world can feel uncertain and divided. History has a strange way of repeating itself, and looking back reminds us of the courage, dignity, and sacrifice that came before us.
Writing this script and diving into the history of these unsung heroes has been one of the most powerful journeys of my life. The bravery and determination of Latino soldiers during World War II is something that deserves to be remembered and honored.
This film is not about action or spectacular war sequences. It is something deeper than that. It is a resurrection — bringing the faces of these men back into the light, allowing them to be seen again after so many years.
Once More Darling is not just a film for me. It’s a responsibility.
Some stories exist because they must be told. Stories about sacrifice, about loss, about people who gave everything and were slowly forgotten by history. More than 500,000 Latino soldiers fought for the United States during World War II. Many never came home. Many never had their names remembered.
“Recuerda Mi Nombre” — Remember My Name is a song for them.
It’s a homage to those who lost their lives believing in the promise of a future, believing in the possibility of the American dream. In times like these, the past has a powerful way of reminding us of the sacrifices that built the world we live in today.
To tell this story I picked up AI the same way an artist picks up a pencil. The tool doesn’t create the story — it simply allows the artist behind it to bring a world to life. For a story like this, imagination needed to be free. No limits. No walls. Just the responsibility to give these voices the world they deserve.
Sometimes the only way to honor the past is to resurrect what history buried on a foreign land.
Recuerda sus nombres.
I was invited to visit the occupied side of Cyprus with Maria’s family and other members of our church. The journey was difficult: I felt the pain and sorrow of these wonderful people and tried to capture some of those moments. This piece is a small portion of a larger film project that Maria and I will be producing soon.
After the invasion of Cyprus by Turkish forces, thousands of Cypriots were forced from their homes and lost everything. On this trip we crossed to the other side of the island to accompany people returning to the churches and neighborhoods where they once belonged — places now turned into museums, sealed off, or left in ruins. The atmosphere was heavy with memory: quiet courtyards, locked doors, and fragments of lives suspended in time.
Once More Darling.
A soldier without a country. A star with a secret. Together they defy history’s silence and honor the courage of Latino heroes erased from America’s story.
Coming soon.

When we make movies, we truly want to have a blast! Don’t get us wrong—we work hard, but we also have a lot of fun. We feel honored to have the opportunity to create magic and help people forget reality for a few minutes or an hour. That’s what we call magic!
On our sets, we dance 💃🏻🕺🏽🎥, so if you want to work with us, be ready to groove and have a fantastic time. Just take a look at the cast busting some moves! 👏👏👏👌🏽
