Archive IBIY - Retail E. Franchi
IBIY was commissioned to support the installation of Elisabetta Franchi in the heart of Lyon’s 2nd arrondissement, a district known for its upscale retail scene.
The mission: redesign the façade and both levels of the boutique in alignment with the brand’s refined, high-end Italian identity.
The project focused on clean volumes, luxurious materials, and meticulous finishes to create a space that feels both elegant and contemporary.
From the fitting rooms to the storefront, every detail was crafted to elevate the customer experience and showcase the collections with sophistication.
Archive IBIY — Villa Jouy, 2019
The very first project by IBIY Studio, this almost 700m2 space in Jouy-en-Josas was brought back to life after years of abandonment. Once owned by a wealthy businessman, it’s now home to a couple, a businessman and an artist, known in the Paris region for their love of hosting grand receptions.
IBIY worked on the spatial layout and functional design of the home: a custom open kitchen, a spacious living area, several private rooms, the artist’s atelier and a wellness space complete with a private spa. Natural light flows throughout the villa thanks to carefully placed skylights.
A natural pool was created as a soft response to the surrounding landscape, and a tree was planted in the central patio — a symbol of renewal and connection to nature. A hidden room was also designed, part secret haven, part playful mystery.
This project embodies IBIY’s vision: thoughtful, sensitive design that honors both the soul of a space and the people who bring it to life.
The bohemian furniture was chosen by the clients.
