Doctors say Erik could be home in two weeks, and his house must be made safe first.
Erik needs urgent accessibility upgrades to prevent falls and allow independent living, including wheelchair access, grab bars, and a full ADA roll-in shower remodel, plus flooring and finishing work.
His family is doing everything they can but they need help.

⚡️Our IBEW brother needs our support!
Scott Scofield has always been a pillar in our community—a dedicated husband, father, and friend. Recently, he received a cancer diagnosis that has shaken his family to the core. Scott is a private man, and it took some convincing for him to allow this GoFundMe to be set up. But now, with the support of his wife Mellise and their two boys, Nolan and Colt, he is ready to face this challenge.
Scott has spent countless hours cheering on his sons at their games and coaching them, always putting his family first. He’s also found joy in outdoor adventures with Mellise, including hiking to the top of Half Dome. Now, he needs our help.
The funds raised will help cover everyday expenses while Scott focuses on his health and treatment. It will also allow him to access the best medical care possible. This is a chance for us to show that he is not alone in this fight.
