22 years ago today I lost my dad, Oakley Andrew Collins to Colon cancer ❤️🩹🥲 Here he is pictured sitting in his chair giving me the peace sign in his true Oakley spirit! What I love about this photo is he is wearing MY old shoes. To tell you my father was selfless would be an vast understatement as we grew up on a middle class income living paycheck to paycheck with 5 kids and both my parents working full time jobs and ALSO running an at home daycare as my dad would work graveyard shift at GreenHill school for troubled youth and my mom worked as an RN nurse during the day. Thinking back I never really understood when my dad would actually sleep other than when his five kids came home from school and we could then watch the daycare children and he could take a nap before going into his graveyard shift. But back to the photo I was a die hard skateboarder as a kid and would destroy shoes quickly so my selfless father would wear my old beat up shoes so he could afford to buy me new ones to keep me skateboarding comfortably. This in a nutshell describes who my father was!! I miss you Dr. Love and can’t wait to fit you with new pair of shoes one day! ❤️😭❤️

Day 1/10 @stealth_backcountry Hokkaido Japan was more then we ever hoped for with 24hrs of travel and 3hrs sleep thanks to our guide @jr__yamada & @pascalshirley for the amazing shots 📷
Well we got 1 day out of 3 @stellarheli due to foggy weather 🫤 But so stoked how the “Pillow Factory” humbled us all! Anxious now to see how @stellarheli is going to welcome us back next season to make up for these lost days 🥶
