“As The Day Goes By” was one of the most interesting and fun sets I have been on in recent years. It was the first time I have ever switched departments halfway through the shoot (due to unforeseen circumstances).
Starting the shoot as Key grip and ending as 1st AC (am I allowed to call that a promotion?).
Despite the shenanigans, It was great time and it’s always a blast to work with Director @moseslawi_ and the homies from ASU. Thanks for bringing me on!
It was also great to meet and work with DP @joshbelveal for the first time. I had heard many great things about him for a while and I now see why. Its was great to work with and learn from Josh.
And of course, thank you to everyone who made this project a fun one!
If you want to catch the premiere of “As The Day Goes By” and you live in the Phoenix area, it will be premiering alongside ”Gettaway” tomorrow, Wednesday 10/4 at 6pm at the ASU Mix Center and will include tacos as well as a talk with Moses and @gabemc10 (Director of “Gettaway”).

I don’t often get the opportunity to work on narrative films so I’m always excited at the chance to help tell cool stories. “Gettaway” was the first narrative piece I had worked on since covid and it reminded me how much I love what I do.
If you’re in Phoenix and available on Wednesday 10/4 from 6:00pm-8:30pm, Come join us at the ASU Mix Center in Tempe, for the dual premiere of “Gettaway” & “As The Day Goes By” (Another film I worked on). There will be Tacos and a talk with @gabemc10 & @moseslawi_ the directors of the films.
Special thanks to @brandonripp from bringing me on to this project. It was an honor to AC for the man who basically taught me how to AC.
