Yes, I’m guilty.
Guilty of having photos and videos on my phone I never share.
Guilty of experiencing things and keeping them to myself.
Guilty of not prioritizing what truly matters for my growth.
If there were a prison for these crimes, would you be found guilty too?
Well, a few of these charges I’m working on dropping them. Please keep me accountable. 🙏🏽
What are you guilty of?
I love capturing the world around me…
Honestly one of my favorite things to do is to spot frames and shots when I’m in a new space sometimes I see an image and if I can I’ll take a photo of it on my phone I don’t do much with it it sits on my phone or sometimes I post the black and white versions on my noir page @noirlines .
Hopefully one day I could share more of these I’ve taken but honestly I don’t take them for people to see I take them for me because these little hubby makes me happy and sometimes inspires me.
I’ll love to know what you think about them ?
📍Mambilla Plateau, Taraba State, Nigeria
Leaving my comfort zone is something I genuinely struggled with. Not just big adventures, even small things that broke my daily routine felt like a lot.
And I kept finding myself stuck.
This isn’t one of those “go be adventurous today” posts, lol. Because honestly it was never something I just jumped into. It’s something I’ve been slowly building up to, and still am.
One thing that really helped was embracing silence. Stillness. I used to think it was wasted time but now I see it differently. It’s in those quiet moments that I find the clarity, the plan, and the courage for whatever comes next. The next trip, the next move, the next step in the direction God has for me.
So yeah, here’s a clip from one of those steps. Mambilla Plateau was worth every bit of it.
And as always, thanks for sticking around for my little rants. I hope to share more of these.
First time at Mambilla Plateau such a beautiful place, weather was so cold at this time of the year Abuja people can’t relate lol. A quick google search would tell you how high it is in the mountains but my watch was saying I was above 1,500 meters high and that’s insane.
Honestly personal opinion I think weather plays a role to how people behave lol because it’s so peaceful over there everyone seems to be getting along and not hostile Atol compared to hotter conditions 😂 I might be wrong.
Got the opportunity to see and speak directly to the Emir trust me that was a privilege I’m sure alot of people never had but it was an honor. I’ll love to visit again but next time I go I promise to carry a jacket.
If you came this far you definitely like reading or obsessed with me so thanks for hearing my little Mambilla story till the next one ✌🏽
Nobody teaches creatives how to run a business, yet here we are, figuring it out.
We started with pure passion. No systems, no structure, just figuring it out as we went.
Then it hits you. You’re constantly busy, deadlines piling up, but you’re not really moving forward. That’s your sign that you need structure.
And structure doesn’t kill creativity, that’s a myth. It actually protects it and gives it room to grow.
Scaling also means you can’t do it alone forever. Learn to collaborate, delegate, and trust people with your work. Find the gaps in your business and fill them with the right people.
That’s how you go from a talented individual to an actual business.
Where are you at in your scaling journey? Let’s talk about it.
Habibi come to Morocco 🇲🇦
Took my camera to Morocco in January and didn’t end up using it as much as I would like, mostly because this trip wasn’t to create content but for just the experience and it was an experience Morocco is beautiful and no better way to experience it than with friends!
+1 - Another year to be greatful for he who has kept me and given me the opportunity to know him more 🙏🏽❤️
Cheers to a new year of new adventures and stronger relationships may god keep us and guide our steps ❤️
Hey, I’m Adekola.
Part-time gamer, part-time TV show binger… full-time lover of food!
Truth is, it’s always been a little tricky explaining what I do. Some of you know me as a photographer. Others? A cinematographer. Or maybe a digital artist. A graphic designer? Yep. A web developer? That too.
And for the longest time, I felt this pressure to pick one, to shrink myself into a single title but the truth is, I’ve genuinely enjoyed exploring all these creative spaces. Each one has taught me something different. Each one reflects a part of me.
So this is me reintroducing myself not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone embracing the journey. If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t fit neatly into one box, hey, same here. And maybe, just maybe, the magic isn’t in choosing one path, but in allowing yourself to be all the things you already are.
Looking forward to discovering what that looks like together.
