He Thought It Was Just a Haircut⌠But the Universe Was Taking Notes.
He didnât preach.
He didnât perform miracles.
He just picked up his clippers and gave someone a free haircut âŚ.no selfies, no hashtags, no âdear diaryâ moment.
Just quiet kindness.
20 years later, that one gentle act came back like harmattan breeze after NEPA restores light âŚ.refreshing, unexpected, and deeply beautiful.
Hereâs the truth most people forget:
The universe is not blind.
Itâs a giant ledger and every kind act is a seed.
Some grow overnight.
Some lie beneath the soil for decades.
But they always grow.
You may not see the fruit today,
but donât stop planting just because the ground looks quiet.
Your one small kindness,
a smile, a call, a favor, a âtake my last puff-puffâ momentâŚ.
might just be someoneâs first reason to believe again.
If this warmed your heart like hot akara on a rainy morning,
donât let it end with you.
Repost it. Send it. Speak it.
Letâs create a kindness ripple so loud, even the heavens will say, âAh-ah, who are these soft people?â
Video: not mine. Pls, reach out to be tagged.
Donât book flights with people whose idea of adventure is scrolling Instagram from the hotel bed.
If they donât walk, donât eat spice, and need 12 hours of sleep just to function, leave them at home. Lovingly. đ
This is not âlie down and lament.â
Itâs not âcomplain and collapse.â
Itâs explore, laugh, dance, get lost, try new food and still make it back with a story worth telling.
Weâre collecting memories, not just receipts.
So before you book those tickets, ask:
đš Do we match vibes or just calendars?
đš Will you chase sunsets with me or just signal?
đš Are you here for experience or only aesthetics?
Vacations are therapy.
Donât turn yours into another group project in suffering.
Tag your favorite travel buddy, the one who understands the assignment every time.
And if youâve ever been trapped on a trip with the wrong person... drop an emoji. Letâs laugh together. đ
Itâs Aura for Aura ⌠Letâs keep the energy flowing đâď¸đđž
Hereâs the truth:
Real marriages arenât curated Instagram highlight reels.
Theyâre full of learning, unlearning, re-falling in love, and laughing about stretch marks and toothpaste caps.
Letâs normalize the pauses, the pivots, the imperfections â because thatâs where the magic lives.
Over to you:
Whatâs one thing you wish someone had told you about long-term love?
Letâs make the comment section a safe (and slightly funny) space for married folks and curious singles alike.
If youâve ever felt exhausted from constantly adjusting who you are to belong⌠this room is for you.
Stockholm, letâs have the conversation many immigrants are silently carrying.
TAKE YOUR POWER BACK. đĽ
I have been to over 100 countries.
For years, I travelled to speak, work, and leave.
Now?I travel to leave impact.
Today at the Nigerian Embassy in Sweden, I had a powerful conversation with ChargĂŠ dâAffaires, Ambassador Dr. Elias Fatile, about something Africa can no longer afford to whisper about:
MENTAL HEALTH.
We spoke about:
* System building
*!Access to care
*Policy and prevention
*Mental health and spirituality
*Sustainable mental health solutions for Africa
* And the urgent need to normalize these conversations
One thing became very clear:The world is paying attention to mental health in Africa.
Africa must stop waiting for permission to lead.
From Lagos to Stockholm, the reality is the same:People are silently breaking.Families are overwhelmed.Systems are stretched. And mental health is no longer optional.
This is no longer just awareness work. This is nation-building.This is legacy work. This is about building systems that will outlive us.
And I am deeply grateful to two phenomenal women, Gbemmy and Dr. Halima, for making this meaningful visit possible.
The mission continues.
Itâs still mental health health awareness month , If you believe Africa deserves better mental health systems, more funding, more conversations, and more action â leave a đ in the comments.
Let the world know:Africa is not behind.Africa is rising.
Some of the richest people in the world are still searching for peace, health, love, and genuine happiness.
Never forget:
A healthy mind.
People who truly love you.
Peaceful sleep.
A grateful heart.
Those are the real luxuries money canât buy.
Whatâs one thing you have that money could never replace?
One of the biggest lies high achievers believe is this:
âI will rest when things calm down.â
But life does not calm down on its own.
You have to intentionally create moments of joy before burnout creates moments of collapse.
Schedule your joy first.
The vacation.
The brunch.
The concert.
The girlsâ trip.
The quiet weekend.
The date night.
The nap.
For if you keep giving work your best and giving yourself the leftovers⌠one day, there will be nothing left of you.
Many people have calendars full of meetings but empty of life.
Book joy like it matters, because it does.
Happiness is not something you squeeze in after exhaustion.
It is part of mental wellness.
Part of emotional survival.
Part of being human.
Protect your peace with the same seriousness you protect your deadlines.
Your mind needs something to look forward to too.
#Day12of31⌠Mental Health Awareness Month
Itâs a good day to check in on your friends and loved ones especially post @amvca #amvca. While at that, donât forget you are also someone .
Tag them and letâs spread love, empathy, kindness and positivity .
Do have a mindful day.
Behind the âIâm fineâ is a mother running on empty.
A mother who gives, carries, fixes, remembers, sacrifices⌠and still feels unseen sometimes.
This Motherâs Day, maybe the greatest gift is not flowers.
Maybe itâs finally asking her:
âHow are you really doing?â â and listening long enough to hear the truth.
If this touched you, send it to a mother who deserves more softness, more support, and more rest. đ¤
What do YOU think mothers truly need most right now?
#Day9of31âŚ. Mental health Awareness Month
#happymothersdayâ¤ď¸ #motherhood #happymothersdaytoallmomsâ¤ď¸ #iamdrmay
To every mother running on low sleep, unanswered WhatsApps, emotional labour, school runs, business meetings, and âMummyyyyy!â every 3.5 secondsâŚ
We see you. đâ¤ď¸
Motherhood is beautifulâŚbut letâs be honest, sometimes the strongest women are one missing charger away from a breakdown. đ
Today is not just about flowers and photos.
Itâs about honouring the women who keep showing up even when they are exhausted.
To the mothers holding homes togetherâŚ
To the women mothering everybody and forgetting themselvesâŚ
To the women grieving, waiting, healing, trying, and survivingâŚ
You are deeply appreciated.
And dear husbands/children,
this is your sign:
Give her rest.
Give her soft life.
Give her silence.
Not another frying pan. đđ
Tag a mother who deserves a standing ovation today.
