Zeta Xi Nu Founded: April 9, 2024 Zeta Xi Nu is a testament to the enduring legacy and commitment of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. to service, unity, and brotherhood. Founded on April 9, 2024, Zeta Xi Nu emerged from the vision and determination of 13 dedicated Omega men, representing a rich tapestry of experiences and backgrounds from several chapters across the fraternity. Their shared belief in the transformative power of Omega led them to establish this chapter, aimed at making a meaningful impact in their MotherLand, Nigeria. These 13 founding brothers hailed from various districts and each brought unique strengths and insights to the formation of Zeta Xi Nu. The Brothers of Zeta Xi Nu showed up and showed out at the @tenacious13thd -13th International District Meeting in Toronto, Canada hosted by the @canadaques . From Lagos to the world, we carried purpose, presence, and power. This weekend, we were honored to receive: 1st Place Reclamation – Small Chapter of the Year (2024–2025) and the 13th International District Reclamation Award These aren’t just awards… they are proof of the work, the sacrifice, and the commitment to reclaiming, restoring, and rebuilding the bond of brotherhood across oceans. And in a moment that grounded us all, our very own 13th District Chaplain, Brother Dr. Alade Shola McKen, poured into the room with a memorial service that wasn’t just heard… it was felt. A profound sermon that covered us, centered us, and reminded us why we do this work in the first place. This weekend was more than meetings. It was laughter. It was reflection. It was brotherhood in its purest form. We leave Toronto better, stronger, and more connected. Stay focused. Stay intentional. Stay rooted. Two years ago, something sacred took root. Not just a chapter… a calling answered on African soil. And when we sit with it… really sit with it… what rises first is not pride— it’s gratitude. Gratitude for the hands that built what didn’t exist yet. Gratitude for the brothers who said yes before it was visible. Gratitude for the ancestors who cleared the path long before we arrived. Because this… this is bigger than an anniversary. This is a return. A return to purpose. A return to each other. A return to the kind of brotherhood that doesn’t perform— it remembers.
