Last week broke us in more ways than one. We lost someone who meant everything to this team, someone who shaped us, guided us, and believed in us even when we didn’t believe in ourselves. 💔 from the first day I met you when I was 10 years old you showed me loved, believed in me and loved me like I was your son. In your famous words calling me into your office “Damian come on in my boy” grab you something to drink and firstly ask me how am I doing, mom and dad? And then crack one of your silly jokes and tell me to piss off and go do my work 😂
I miss you so much already.. but we thank you and salute you for your service and loyalty to our family, community and club. Nulli Secundus!
This week, we showed up carrying that loss in our hearts… and we fought. Not just for the win, but for you. Every pass, every moment, every bit of strength came from the love and lessons you left behind.
Proud of the way we turned things around, but still hurting deeply. Grief doesn’t disappear with a result. We carry it, we grow through it, and we honor you in everything we do. Our sincere love and condolences to Aunty Pearl and the family your husband and father has & always will be a Legend of this club.
