ad 🧟‍♀️BRING HER BACK🩸 Thank you so much to @sonypicturesuk for inviting me to the vip screening of @bringherbackmovie 💞 I’m a resident horror girlie and @talktomemovie was honestly in one of my top 10 horror films of all time 🤗🫶 so I was really hyped for this and it DID NOT disappoint ✨ My review: I guess my obsession with the philippou brothers continues ‼️ I fondly remember watching RackaRacka with my brother years ago - the twin filmmakers really have shown they can make magic and after the success of Talk to Me, this calibre of horror matches and dare I say exceeds their debut? Horror is my favourite genre but alas the most difficult to do well. Thoughtful, purposeful writing built the foundations and impeccable casting set the stage for a tragic, charming, traumatising, stress-inducing suspense-filled story that was shocking yet somehow sprinkled with humour (something to take the edge off 🚬)

🤔 WHY DO WE HATE EUPHORIA? 💅 With season 3 officially being labelled the worst-rated in the Euphoria universe 🤢, it’s time to delve into the polarising show (so far). It’s a modern Western of sorts, with Levinson as a corrupt sheriff, 🤠 making poor decisions to the detriment of a talented cast. Heavy on the sleaze, the first four episodes make for an uncomfortable watch. Let’s deep dive into the show’s issues. From colour saturation and costuming, to problematic language and degrading female characters, this season leaves a lot to be desired. Let’s talk about it!

‼️SFX MAKEUP‼️ Nate Jacobs’ injured face from euphoria season three episode 4 - I just loved how this makeup was executed and got inspired 🤘 here’s how I got the look: 1. Added a skin tint as a base to keep it glowy 2. All bruises are created with a bruise wheel - I start by mapping out main bruises with a yellow 3. I then go in with a red and I use a mixture of different sponges and my finger to create different finishes on the skin 4. For the cuts, I create negative space with micellar water then draw the cut with dark red and add black to make it 3D 5. ‼️ ANAKIN SKYWALKER REALISTIC SCAR ‼️ this may 4th, recreate Anakin’s iconic episode 3 look using rigid collodion. Here’s a step by step on how I got the look: 1. I used earthy-toned shadows on the eyes and underneath to create depth and accentuate bags under the eyes (after all, Anakin’s been through it 🤪) - blush is @rimmellondon in coral dust 2. I used a dull red (or you can use brown) eyeshadow to sketch out the shape of the scar - this will also add dimension to your scar so the colour is important 3. I brush over a layer of @mehronmakeup ‘s rigid collodion. I let it dry for 20-30 seconds then I added 2 more layers. This solution is used by professionals and it tightens the skin to make realistic scars. ‼️ it’s SO important you read the instructions and know how to remove this chemical as it can be damaging to the skin ‼️ 4. Rigid collodion has shine so I use @mehronuk translucent powder to mattify.
