The rain clocked in early, but the vibe never called out.
When the skies finally cleared, the block was already simmering in flavor, rhythm, and joy in every corner.
Streets glistening, hearts full.
@ColmadoCoffee reminded the city what community feels like.

From the heartbeat of San Gennaro to the style and soul of Brooklyn, yesterday was a walk through culture, craft, and community. The concrete jungle turned into a runway, and the souls I captured were nothing short of remarkable. The city’s energy never misses.
Two titans, one stage.
Djokovic and Alcaraz pushing the game to its limits, every point a story of power, patience, and grit. What an honor to witness, and capture, greatness from both sides of the net.
Beyond the courts, the story continued…
in faces, laughter and the spirit that made
the grounds feel alive.
It’s the type of energy you can’t stage,
only catch in the moment.

🎾Osaka x Gauff🎾
Two queens of the court, two stories colliding once again.
Every swing a conversation, every point a chapter.
Osaka walked away victorious, but the moment was bigger than the scoreboard.
At the @USOpen , my lens naturally gravitates toward the athletes, but in between the serves and volleys, I turned it toward the people.
The energy on the grounds was its own match: joy, anticipation, and shades of melanin shining together in the sun. Capturing those moments off the court was just as rewarding as the action on it.
Once again, Bed-Stuy felt like home.
The Soapbox brought us a Neo-Soul Saturday that was nothing but timeless grooves. Songs that carried us back, wrapped in warmth and memory.
As per usual, my camera in hand, I caught more than just moments…I caught the glow of melanin shining in unity, the rhythm of laughter spilling into the street, and that unshakable love that only comes when community gathers as one.
A block party, yes, but also a reminder: we are the music, the style, the soul, the light.

Yesterday, on World Photography Day, I had the honor of standing among a community of brilliant Black photographers and creatives, led by @JamelShabazz alongside @blackphotocollective2020 and @worldphotographydaynyc .
It was more than a gathering; it was a celebration of unity, love, and the power of our stories.
The older I get, the deeper my pride runs for my background and the culture that shaped me. Yesterday reminded me why I do what I do, and why I’ll never stop.
Special admiration to the legendary Jamel Shabazz. Despite all his accomplishments, he carries himself with such humility, always ready to share gems, have a real conversation, and put that battery in your back to keep going.
Grateful to have been there, grateful to keep creating, and grateful for the love that fuels it all.

This past Saturday, the city became our playground and the pavement our canvas.
With every pedal stroke and every snap of my shutter, we carved memories in motion.
Sunlight bounced off chrome spokes, shadows stretched long across the asphalt, Jordans gripped the pedals, chains whispered with each rotation (some even snapping!), and the hum of the ride drowned out everything else.
We moved as one, dozens of frames in the same film reel, weaving through traffic and turning the streets into our stage.
Every turn was a shot worth keeping, and every face a story in motion.
