SO many Good Things happening to be grateful for! ~ My mom has been off treatment for 3 months in order to have cataract surgery and she’s been feeling GREAT! She’s even back to driving! It’s so wonderful to see her so happy and energetic! ~ I was in a group collaboration to alter a magazine into a journal and it was SO fun getting to know everyone better! Also enjoyed learning a lot from these talented ladies. ~ It was my Golden Birthday (born in 1963 and turned 63 years old)!🎉🥳🥳🥳 I think I was more excited to hit the Golden occasion than getting a year older!🤭 ~ It was my nephew Jules 5th Birthday and we had a wonderful time with family and friends celebrating his Awesomeness! Happy New Year Everybody! I have some exciting news about the Good Things Jar for 2026! This year I have decided to team up with my very talented friend Itziar @and_.styles for a Good Things ZINE Challenge for 2026! Make sure you go and FOLLOW her so you don’t miss any Good Things! We both will be sharing some Zine folding tutorials to help you get started. The zines will be approximately 6” x 6” (15 cm * 15 cm) in size. There will be 8 pages and 4 pockets to complete and we will create one page or pocket insert for each month. We still encourage you to write down your Good Things and keep them in your jar! These can always be used as personal prompts to inspire you as you create each month. So the way that the Good Things Zine works is as follows: 1 ~ At the end of each month, reflect on the Good Things that came your way! 2 ~ Pick your word or prompts that define your special moment. 3 ~ Create your spread or insert/journal card for that month. This is the end of January so we will be doing the first page of the zine as January and the time is now!🤩 Here is the schedule that I was proposing in the video for the pages and the inserts (journal cards). What day is it?!! This is me stopping for a minute and recalibrating.
