Two and a half months ago (on the 12th of November 2025) I released a music video with my project and I subtly only posted about it.
The song/video is a parody about the digital life on Earth in 2026 and the world full of social media trash.
I wrote the tune in June 2020, recorded and produced it between 2021 and 2023. The script for the video was written during 2023 with my buddy @stefan.rajhl . We had a lot of fun.
We shot the video in 2023 and 2024 and it got edited and post produced during 2025, which resulted with the video finally being published in November.
The single got some really nice reviews and was featured across media from all over the world (US, UK, Italy, etc).
You can still go and watch it on the link in my bio. Also, all feature links are available in my bio.
Thanks for watching and listening 🙏
БLACK$TATE
If you’ve ever scrolled so long your thumb aches, Blackstate’s “#FollowMe” is going to feel like a mirror held up to your screen-addled soul — and it’s hilarious, unsettling, and impossible to ignore. Filip Tasevski-Fitz, the mind behind Blackstate, has spent decades tearing through the hardcore and punk underground with The Beginnings, but here he trades mosh pits for synthesizers, wit, and a razor-sharp eye for the absurdities of modern life.
“#FollowMe” lands like a punchy, adrenaline-charged commentary on the influencer-obsessed world we’re all part of. The track’s buoyant melody disguises a biting critique: people obsessed with capturing the perfect digital moment while the “boring, boring reality” slips by unnoticed. Tasevski-Fitz doesn’t just lampoon this world; he immerses himself in it, stepping into the shoes of clout-chasers, creating a musical adrenaline rush that’s part high-intensity video game, part existential snapshot of a generation scrolling itself into oblivion.

@iamblackstate 's "#FollowMe" is the social media satire we didn't know we needed. Filip Tasevski-Fitz holds up a brutal mirror to our screen-addicted reality, turning influencer culture into a buoyant, high-intensity electronic punk anthem that feels like stepping into a video game right before all hell breaks loose.
It's biting, it's playful, and it hits way too close to home—capturing those clout-chasers more concerned with the perfect selfie than actual human connection. Released Nov 12 with a music video full of ridiculous influencer scenarios (chickens included), this track proves Blackstate's punk roots are alive and well, just dressed in dancing grooves.

An eclectic entity, the electro, post-punk and indie-pop project exists at the intersection of popular and underground culture, often blending playful, relatable lyricism with niche arrangements and witty production.
