On day 18 of Me Made May we’re still awaiting the arrival of warm sunny weather….. apparently it won’t be long! Dodging the rain and wind warmer clothes still required. 🚴‍♀️Me Made May // May 15th Exciting Friday off here in Toulouse. I stole a bike !!! It happens to be my bike that has been stuck in the city center with a broken lock for over a week, but still !!! Wore my @iam_patterns I Am Rainbow in my absolute favorite @atelierbrunette cheetah brushed terry 🐆💙 because despite being half way through May, the weather is still being wildly fickle and cycling through about 2 weeks of weather variations every 3 hours. 𝔼𝕄𝕄𝔸, 𝔾𝔼𝕆ℝ𝔾𝕀𝔸 & 𝕀ℝ𝕄𝔸 🌸 C’est la rencontré de ces trois là qui donnent vie à un projet couture pour ma maman. Après avoir cousu une version en popeline blanche pour moi, ma maman l’a essayé et a adoré le modèle. Depuis le temps que je veux lui coudre un beau vêtement celui-ci est bien tombé ❣️ Nous sommes allées choisir ensemble le tissu @libertyfabrics à @lateliermercerie et j’y ai glissé une étiquette @lapetitemaisoncouture pour lui faire un vêtement de 🆂🆄🅿🅴🆁 🅼🅰🅼🅰🅽 ❤️ J’ai tellement eu de plaisir à la coudre! Et je suis très fière des finitions. Je me réjouis de la lui offrir ! 🎁

Mercredi 13 mai 2026 #memademay2026 Aujourd'hui je porte mon premier projet cousu des vacances 🤍 Le Pull de chez @ledressingdecindy il s'agit d'un modèle gratuit, projet simple mais avec des détails notamment de propreté impeccable ! Je suis impressionnée par la qualité du patron pourtant gratuit. Pour le tissu il s'agit d'un boutis que j'ai chiné à la Braderie de mon quartier vendredi dernier ! Aussitôt trouvé aussitôt transformé. Il est non extensible donc j'ai juste réduit les pinces des manches et agrandi la bande de manche en conséquence. Je suis toujours à la recherche de drap/couverture à upcycler en braderie et celle-ci m'a été vendu 3euros! Le reve ! 😱❤️ J'ai coupé un autre gros projet dedans que vous verrez bientôt et je pense pouvoir caser un Gilet sans manche pour Alice dans mon reste. Pour le bas je porte ma première version du Sunshine de @iam_patterns avec le velour côtelé dans le mauvais sens. ✨ Mercredi = patron gratuit ✨ Cette semaine, on s’attaque à un basique, le t-shirt I AM Patterns x I AM Blandine — le basique parfait à twister ✂️ Et le meilleur ? Je prépare un tuto pour ce week end ✨ 💌 Commente “INDISPENSABLE” et je t’envoie le lien du patron. Parce qu’un bon basic, ça se garde. Mais un basic fait main, c’est encore mieux. The wedding guest outfit for my sister’s wedding 🤍 I found this absolutely amazing fabric from @khiafabrics at the Stitch Festival and fell in love with it instantly — the most beautiful Italian broderie anglaise. It took me a while to decide what to make, but in the end I chose a skirt and blouse set so I could get even more wear out of this gorgeous fabric. The skirt is the @iam_patterns Rachel Skirt pattern, and the blouse is the @stitchwitchpatterns Tudor Blouse. I used every last scrap of fabric, making a matching bow bag by @sewoveritlondon with a chain strap i added leftover fabric. I also made a matching hair bow and bangle — maybe a little over the top, but I love how it all came together. This fabric was such a joy to sew and felt incredible to wear — worth every penny. #iamrachelskirt #tudorblouse #soibowbag

Day 11 of #memademay2026 is an @iam_patterns Gaia top, and you bet it was worn under a thick jumper all day 🥶 I've not made this blouse is ages and I forgot how quick it is to sew up! I used the free add-on for the ruffle shoulders. Fabric was from @rainbowfabrickilburn #memademay #sewist
