🌱 Success Story Spotlight! 🌱
Facing drought and water shortages, the Sonderhoff Family Farm took action for their future. Through the BMP Program, they installed rainwater harvesting tanks that capture 75,000 liters of precious rainwater to support their vines and livestock during dry spells.
"Being able to store 75,000 liters of rainwater which we can use to water our livestock and grow our transplants during droughts makes our farm more sustainable as well as more resilient to climatic changes,” shares Marina Sonderhoff.
Investments in water security like this help ensure long-term productivity and resilience for farms across the region.
