Day out with Pops...
Here's some unedited pictures from the photoshoot I did with the always entertaining @alisterking . Let's just say Pops went through it; from irritation to liking something A LOT😂. Last 2 are just some straight on shots showing the makeup. I'll show the zombie we did later that day but I'm just really proud of this one. Just having a forehead piece with stretch and stipple.

Here are some pics from Artistry Unmasked hosted by @foxandsuperfine that I took with my Film camera. It was such an amazing event with sick people! All facial prosthetics are sculpted and ran in foam latex by me. The chimp cowl is just a slip cast latex.
This post is also my submission to @sgnlmagazine for their next issue that will feature artists in the SFX/horror community. #sgnlsfxlab
Had the absolute BEST TIME at the Artistry Unmasked event the past weekend hosted by the awesome people @foxandsuperfine . Met so many kind people and caught up with others that I haven't seen in awhile. I took a lot of pictures on film so I'll be coming back with that soon!
I made the biggest purchase of my life so far. This is "Gus", named after my dog and friend who passed earlier this year.
I bought a '82 Ford Econoline RV. It was already stripped pretty bare, but I'm gonna completely redesign the floor plan to have a SFX workspace in the back while still being able to live out of it. There was quite a bit of water damage so for the past month I have been reframing Gus and ripping everything out!
I've also been sculpting a new Zombie torso prosthetic/costume piece hoping to get a few more pieces done before Halloween.
This is a new old man forehead prosthetic I had sculpted to use as a pros-aide transfer, but I might remake it for a silicone piece. I used it for the old man makeup I did recently
BTS photos a full day of #sfxmakeup and photoshoot! I can't thank my friend @alisterking for being my model and sitting in the chair for TWO makeups with a combined time of 6 freakin' hours!
Photos are getting edited now, but I couldn't help myself to share them. Also thanks to John Grace for letting us use his set and lighting for this! Also thanks to my mom for letting me use her camera to take the pictures.
The old "man forehead" was an original prosaide transfer that I made a month or so back. I like it but I might just resculpt it to make it a silicone piece. The zombie brow is another original piece that is currently available on my Etsy store. (Link in bio)
Also I threw in a picture of my kit that I built from the ground up cause I'm proud of it. It is my baby.

Goodbye 2024. The year started out strong with some challenging projects that were some of the most fulfilling work I have done to that point. I did a makeup demonstration at my old film school. I started to make my own masks for myself that I could actually wear lol. I had to move back home due to financial difficulties, BUT I went to Japan for a week to help my brother get moved in and met some AWESOME new friends. Got back into makeup and have met even more people in ATL. Made more masks and a new makeup box from scratch.
This only scratches the surface, but it's important to lay everything out for yourself. This way you can hopefully be "it didn't work out like I would've liked but I'm proud of what I've accomplished".
