My abuelo used to bring my abuela seashells every time he went to the beach. The most precious one is the one he sent her when he was 14, from the north of Spain while he was in military service. With the inscription “Te quiero” written on it.
I wanted to catalogue it, scan it, keep a trace of it. But I no longer have it with me, all I have is a bad photo.
So I tried AI image generation for the first time. By trying and retrying different prompts, I generated many images, without ever finding the original.

The other day I was at my friend’s new flat. I recognized some posters and postcards, we used to live together so she just found some of my old things. I told her she could keep them, oh except for that one, i’ve been looking for it, oh and this one, i remember my mom wrote something on the back. then my friend says; that’s funny on this one my mom also wrote me something, it’s so unlike her... ah wait i think it’s yours then.... ah, yes...thanks. I went back home and decided to regroup them all.
