With Hypnotica, we want to create a space for music that is deep, hypnotic, and immersive, characterized by flowing rhythms, subtle changes, and a trance-like energy that draws you in and never lets go. We take inspiration from the pioneers of hypnotic techno, from the underground scenes of Berlin to the raw, driving sounds that shaped the genre’s early days. Our vision is to strip techno down to its essence, away from distractions, and back to pure, deep grooves that connect mind and body. To create a space where this type of techno can truly be felt. We want to build an atmosphere where music is more than just sound - it’s an intense, captivating experience THE FACES BEHIND Sunny, founder of Hypnotica, brings fresh energy to the scene. She stands for a modern and creative approach to event planning. With creative ideas and an innovative vision, she introduces new impulses to Vienna’s club culture, shaping dynamic and unique experiences. Through many gigs in different venues and her own events, she has gained valuable experience. Yansen has many years of experience in booking, event organization and DJing. As a co-founder Techno Obscene, resident of Techno Entgleist and through his work at Grelle Forelle and other well-known venues, he has gained a lot of knowledge about the scene. We’re excited to announce our new member! ⭐️ Maia Valencia Cuberos, known as MA!A, is a DJ from Vienna, Austria. Coming from a family of Musicians, they were exposed to a lot of different styles and instruments from an early age, and grew up to love Rock, Metal, and other harder genres of music. At the beginning of 2018 they went to their first techno rave and were instantly hooked, finding a lot of similarities to the drive and power of the heavy music they mostly listened to before. Towards the end of 2019 they started DJing themselves, experimenting with different genres and styles. They love to play hard and fast, incorporating music ranging from hard and driving techno over darker and industrial sounds to more melodic tunes as well. At Hypnotica, Ma!a not only functions as a resident DJ, but also as our Awareness Lead. TAKE Southern Moravian DJ Takē found his voice in Prague’s nightlife. In just three years, he’s become a rising name, known for emotionally rich sets that bridge techno, dub, and melody. He blends old and new, creating space rather than chasing moments. LOOPHOLE He delivers high-energy sets driven by hard trance, groove, and hypnotic techno. With a background in sound design, his style is precise yet wild—intense, rhythmic, and built for the underground. RATZEFUMMEL From South Tyrol, now in Vienna, he focuses on groove-based techno. His rhythmic, loop-driven sets create smooth, immersive journeys. As a student of electronic music and sound design, he continues refining his sonic craft. OAT M Thomas B., aka Oat M, is the founder of “scum collective. His sets are intuitive and free-flowing, shaped by mood and moment rather than expectation—deeply personal and ever-experimental. SUNNY is focused on deep, hypnotic techno, her sets are defined by a dark, cinematic atmosphere and rhythmic hypnosis.
