Building a mood… 🪔🤎 restaurant design by @hypnos_xp for @nobisan_temakibar where subtle lights and combinations of material result in a both dramatic and intimate atmosphere. Details of the custom furniture and lighting we designed for the Datura coffee roasters, including a high table, used for cupping coffee, with raw black steel sheets and white translucide panels that resemble the material of packaging, built by @looppp.looppp . Suspension lights were designed to integrate industrial/ standard elements such as rails, tubes and rivets, then customised with translucide plexiglass strips. A suspended stainless steel counter, for the @slayerespresso coffee machine, wrapped in raw steel panels and lined by functional workshop cabinets by @kraftmeister_official , bring functionality to the space, allowing Datura to experiment with different coffee beans. Two tall towers of stainless steel effortlessly integrate the sound system with vertical tower speakers, recessed within. A low coffee table in folded and riveted stainless steel and glass by @hypnos_editions , completes the setup. DATURA ROASTERY — A serene and refined interior design for the renovation of the mirco-roastery and atelier of @daturacoffee_paris , by @hypnos_xp One of Paris’ leading coffee specialist, Datura sources rare and distinct coffee beans from around the world, which are then transformed into aromatic and full-flavour beans, ready to grind. We played with this to create a space that transforms - a more intimate, somber and serious side with dark tones featuring raw steel panels, and a lighter more contemporary side where the coffee production is made. Here, natural light reflects on stainless steel, built-in speakers bring music and life to the space. Custom furniture by @looppp.looppp and @hypnos_editions further enhance the artistic direction, with two tall towers of stainless steel effortlessly integrate the sound system with vertical tower speakers, recessed within. DATURA COFFEE ROASTERY — by HYPNOS XP Interior design, with custom lighting, cupping table and speaker installations for the micro-roasters and atelier of @daturacoffee_paris Blending raw, black steel panels with light, translucide plexiglass sheets and stainless steel - a transformation of the space from light to dark, which is reflective of the roasting process in which Datura prepares its beans. JUNK MARYLEBONE — by HYPNOS XP New project in London, solidifying our futuristic brutalism aesthetic with a raw and refined interior within a 200m2 flagship location for @junksmashburger in Marylebone. The cavernous underground space is characterised by its original structural concrete beams, intentionally left raw and with visible technical installations. Sleek, stainless steel furniture, lighting and counters with triangular forms, slice through the greyed-out interior, elevating the space with precision.
