Recent character design concept sketches for COF I’ve been working on! I’ve been slowly chipping away at the lore & designs for the Caravan (aka Artie’s ‘family’) which has been very fun so far 😼 each member of the caravan embodies a different way you can ‘d*e’ as an immortal, so these two help achieve this by cursing you to live in a time loop of memories forever, or making you feel every emotion you’ve ever felt at once- leaving you desensitized to everything as a result.. more to come on these eventually, all their lore is annoying to summarize in a few sentences 🤕

FINALLY A PROPER LORE POST!! this is a side project im working on just for fun lol, here’s a small synopsis I wrote! ->

A story between a child that turned into a monster and discovered he had been one all along, and a child cast into another dimension whose fate was taken from them at birth. Artie, and Artienne- both soul-bound by an entity that forbids them to die- traverse the feywild in order to sever the curse and finally bring an end to their suffering. I am you and you are me. I hate you, yet you are the only one who understands my suffering. Is the pursuit of the self that you took from me worth chasing if the ‘real’ Artie does not exist? Perhaps it is the pursuit of you that is what matters most.
This is a tale about travel and nature, art and self- the beauty of nonsense and the absurdity of being anything at all. A pursuit of mortality in order to finally rest becomes a mission to preserve the fleeting nature of life.

(ft @shanoiasuna ‘s weapon gal)
