We had an incredible day yesterday recording a closing track for @firelily_film as a @loveartsorg project with the kids from @brixtonyouththeatre in collaboration with the brilliant, beautiful, talented people of @housegospelchoir , geniusly produced by @hypertone , and all under the masterful guidance of FL’s Exec Producer @aleshaofficial !!
The kids learnt so much about singing, recording, producing and filmmaking throughout the day, and we ended up recording a hauntingly beautiful song, which we can’t wait to share with you in @firelily_film
And amazing to do it all @deanststudios where so many big names have recorded over the years, including Brixton’s own David Bowie and more recently, CharlieXCX !
Another spark in @firelily_film - with the amazing support and talent of our executive producer @aleshaofficial . In the studio working on the music for our closing credits. Huge props to @hypertone for his time and expertise! It’s already sounding phenomenal!

My first official release as an artist was named Calypso. I’ve always had a deep connection to the sounds of the Carribean and R&B. So I’ve always named my music genre “Island Blues”. Love songs of the Carribean.
