The number of membership requests we’ve received has honestly been insane. We’ve had thousands of emails so far, and our team has to manually verify every single submission.
If you’ve already forwarded your submission to [email protected], please be patient while we work through them all.
Also, if you didn’t email the council before the deadline, please don’t create fake submissions or send new ones now. Council submissions closed on the 14th of April, and fake entries only slow the process down for everyone else. Every submission is being individually checked, so they will not be accepted.

The People Have Spoken
Here’s a timeline for our case up till now. Council refused to renew our development approval - wanting the space back for car parking. We applied for a review and a public submission window opened. By the time it closed, 3,682 people had written in - more than tripling the previous record for public submissions to the City of Sydney Council. Over 4,000 submissions were actually received. Blank submissions, offensive ones and some very short responses were not counted. We thank every person that tried to help us. We will keep this page updated with every development.
