I make art to show the truths in the world in the hope to make room for a better one with more understanding, kindness and respect for one another, with an injection of fun! I’m an actor and a filmmaker based in LA. Our film Scorpio Moon, Baby is about seeing people for who they truly are and meeting them where they’re at rather than enforcing our own ideology onto them. It’s about basic #humanrespect Human respect is about valuing the inherent worth of people as individuals. To treat one another with kindness and compassion. To be open to other people’s perspectives and to avoid actions that would cause harm. Acceptance, tolerance and dignity. I am so incredibly grateful to have worked on a piece allows everyone’s gifts to shine. Our filmmaking team consists of people who are first and second generation immigrants from multiple different ethnicities, all with the same goal to live, work and dream big in America. This issue of human respect has never been more potent than right now in the USA. I’ve gained so much perspective from this trip - what I want to do, what I want to see, where I want to go, who I want to meet. Hiking, snorkeling, eating amazing food, impromptu photoshoots, wandering aimlessly, sitting under the stars alone on the beach. Meeting some of the nicest people, people who invited me into their home without question to eat and drink. People who without hesitation invited me to visit them in their home towns. Mexico really is a place like no other and I’ve only scratched the surface.
