This week we’re featuring a very special coffee for Single Origin Friday. This coffee is named after Huver Castillo, a third generation coffee producer in Nariño, Colombia on a farm that’s been in the family for more than 20 years 🇨🇴
The farm is along the Suma Paz trail, with elevations ranging from 1,750 to 1,950-meters. High elevation and shade trees create an ideal environment for slow coffee cherry growth and high cup quality.
Process: Anaerobic washed
Tasting notes: Pixie Stix, Lemongrass, Coconut, and Coffee Blossom 🍬🍋🥥🌸

it’s sunny and it’s Thursday - which means you can go to @mothfirebrewingco and sip on an imperial stout aged in @twojames barrels and steeped in our coffee while eating a bunch of pizza from @carrozzapizza 🫦🫦🫦
We just wrapped a complete frame down refurbishment on this 1997 Linea. The machine was originally made by hand in Seattle. Rebuilt in 2026 in Ypsi Michigan. We replaced all of the electronics, re-did the full wiring harness, descaled the boilers, put in Piero caps, replaced tubes and gave it a buff and powder coat paint job. This machine is better than new in our opinion and ready for a new cafe to serve for the next 30 years.
