Or also just hang out, read, relax before/after work, shower, use the kitchen, go through the free box, work on ur laptop and basically use the space as you like. Sometimes we do stuff together like painting demo signs or discussing a specific topic but everyone is free to join or not. There also usually is spontanious counceling available through a social worker from Hydra and soon: HIV/STI rapid testings by Checkpoint every 1st Wednesday (starting June 2024). The Café is open to all genders and se6xes. Everything we offer is free and anonymous. This is a space for all people who have experience with se6xs work, with or without registration. This includes people who work in bars, bro99els, flats, se6x cinemas, ma55age parlours, in front of webcams, as esc0rts, on the street, dancers and p0rn performers. xoxo

The workshop will be held by Fiore, a trans nonbinary person with a long experience in facilitating digital security workshops for sex workers, queer people, anti-violence shelters, activists and marginalized communities. Fiore is part of Cypher Sex (cyphersex.org) - a feminist intersectionalist group of digital protection consultants and activists based in Berlin who would like to support local sex workers and the radical queer community at large to help them stay safe in their online and digital life. Cypher Sex believes in a horizontal and participatory approach to digital protection and in a holistic way of securing digital activities based on individual needs and practices. 💾 What?: Are you worried about your footprint on the internet? Have you sometimes asked yourself if your private and professional online identities are in danger of being connected together by others? Do you just want to know how to stay safe and in control online? Now more than ever, digital security is incredibly important for sex workers. In 1975, over a hundred sex workers occupied a church in Lyon, demanding dignity, safety, and rights. Their protest sparked a global movement. Today, sex workers still face stigma, criminalisation, and unsafe working conditions. Laws like the Prostitutes Protection Act in Germany were meant to improve lives — but for many, they have not. And reforms are still being discussed without meaningful involvement of sex workers themselves. Join us and come together with sex workers and allies to stand in solidarity. 👉 Nothing about us, without us. This day is not just a commemoration,it’s a call to action: For rights. For justice. For full decriminalisation.
