There’s a quiet shift that comes with early spring in the woods. The birds sing their return from the tree tops. The ground is slowly carpeted with green. The light lingers a little longer in the evenings. Everything feels right on the cusp of bursting into life.
I built this shelter from hazel coppiced in the woods, dragging each bundle in with my trusty assistant Lizzie.
Layered with sustainably sourced sheepskin rugs, cushions and natural fibres from @hydeandhare , this became the perfect hide-out to watch the woods spring into life! What a treat to curl up in such warmth and softness. Cannot recommend enough!
