This one's about learning that for a good chunk of my life, I had exhibited symptoms of "anxious attachment" or "RSD"
It's about coming to grips with the physical symptoms of anxiety it brought me to see someone pull away, even if they didn't mean to. And wondering if there's a way to break the behavioral patterns I wasn't always proud of
I'll tell you what I am proud of though, this song. And the immensely talented artists I'm working with. Check it out, it's worth a listen

My first song in 2 years is here. Ngl, I'm anxious about coming back. I spent the last 2 years moving to Virginia, rebuilding my life and recording all kinds of music with old and new faces. Met so many beautiful people here but I also regrettably lost touch with many more as I isolated and poured myself into this work
I thought I was trying to achieve higher standards of quality but maybe I was afraid of showing you flawed work. I thought I needed to find success but now I think I needed to look for my voice and identity
Hope this is the start of me getting there, hope it's a good expression of where I'm at today, hope you enjoy it

It’s been well over a year since I last released any music and honestly it’s been eating me up not putting out anything for this long.
In the meantime, I’ve been experimenting and exploring new sounds for my project, working with incredible artists and helping shape other people’s sounds. I truly can’t express how grateful and lucky I feel to be able to do this!
I cannot wait to share everything I’ve been working on with all of you! It’s super exciting and nerve wracking all at once, but I know it’s gonna be worth it.

My Baby, a song that gave me so much clarity and perspective is finally out. while i am very detached from this song lyrically now, the process of creating it really gave it an entire new meaning for me. i hope it tickles your brain as well as it does mine.
