Overwhelmed and delighted to have won the 2026 Waterstones Children’s Book Prize for Sleep Tight, Disgusting Blob!
Making this book was a huge team effort. I basically just thought up a fun title and was subsequently guided/inspired/badgered/poked/nagged/dragged through the rest of the actual writing and drawing by these 4 super-talented individuals:

I’m so so grateful for the immeasurable privilege of having loving parents who read to me from the start, and the even greater one of having wonderful kids to read to myself. Picturebooks bring us together and are magical.
