Silo Dir. Marshall Burnette Panavision High Speed Anamorphic T1.5 50mm w. + 1/2 Diopter Featuring Jim Parrack, Jeremy Holm, Chris Ellis, J.D. Parker, Danny Ramirez, Jill Paice and Jack DiFalco. Color @company_3 @kathraisch Inspired by true events, SILO follows a harrowing day in an American farm town. Disaster strikes when teenager Cody Rose is entrapped in a 50-foot-tall grain bin. When the corn turns to quicksand, family, neighbors and first responders must put aside their differences to rescue Cody from drowning in the crop that has sustained their community for generations. Thank you to @lex0003 and my family @panavisionofficial for bringing me the tools to create these images. Excited to finally share stills from my latest feature, Silo. Last summer I spent 10 weeks in Kentucky and Iowa shooting this film with an incredible Louisville and Nashville crew. These guys pushed our setups beyond our man power and truly helped elevate the storytelling. Matt Ware @mattie_ware_ is my brother and one of the best gaffers I’ve had the privilege to work amongst. I’m gracious to have had such a good collaborator Dir. Marshall Burnette @mjburnette who pushed the boundaries of this film putting every ounce of his heart and soul into the work. The cast of Silo made this experience really special for me to shoot. From a story and cinematography perspective you can’t make a movie that has so many deliberate choices in composition and selective lighting without fully immersed actors. Jeremy Holm @jeremysholm is one of the best humans I’ve worked with in this craft and I hope you all get to shoot with him soon. Legends Jim Parrack and Chris Ellis gave the film posture and a timeless legacy. Danny Ramirez @dannyramirez and Jack DiFalco @jackdifalco are unmatched forces whose vulnerability allows audiences to tug on the deep heart strings of the story. I look forward to posting some public stills from the film and discussing our motivation in lighting and framing. Thank you to @lex0003 and my family @panavisionofficial for bringing me the tools to create these images. It truly would not be possible without you. Festival trailer coming here soon. @arri #silo #featurefilm #film #cinema #arri #alexa #anamorphic #panavised
