Not pictured here was the time Chris, Jesse & I were hiding in our tents, freaking out while Bears were eating all of our camping food. Chris was more than a drinking buddy, co-worker, day trading mentor or adventurer – he was a dear friend who flew too close to the sun.
There was that time he sent a package from the Silk Road to my work address, which got lost. And the other time we created a cultural appropriation halloween costume. And that time we ran against a crowd at SXSW to make it in time for True Detective. And the time we came down from hiking Tres Lagos with a natural high.
But I’ll always remember him as the guy who hired people from Craigslist to write headlines for him because it was more cost efficient than doing it himself.
He had Brass Balls and was a Closer.
