• Can you believe it? We are 10 years old! It’s our birthday!
From what started out in a really small way, me pouring candles in my Newtown studio apartment, late nights, and many early mornings seeing you all at markets, sharing scents that were inspired by Newtown’s pulse. To now! Two stores, a fabulous team, countless collaborations and a little factory where I still, pour late into the evenings, and are inspired by you all, every day.
It’s been a huge story the past 10 years. We have experienced many unexpected turns, some scary, most incredible. Your part, is crucial. I wake up everyday, thankful and full of gratitude that you continue to welcome us into your lives.
I set out, to pour candles that make people feel something. Whether it’s peace, joy, curiosity or confusion, we feel privileged to continue on this mission.
Thank you for being there with us, we have a little present from tomorrow, for now, just a huge THANK YOU.

Our Newtown and Surry Hills shops are where we can get to know you, share with you why we do what we do, and allow you the time and space to interact and play with the scents, or just take a moment to explore. We wouldn’t have it any other way!

• Direct from the garden, our limited edition soap has arrived. Tomato leaf, red rose and geranium. This luxurious lather is a quaint addition to your home, heart and body. Made for the loved ones around us. •
• You did it again! Thank you everyone who came past our garage sale over the weekend. What a blast it is to see you all! We had a great day, and hope you did too.

• Here we go again! Our annual Garage Sale!
You know the drill. We will be set up out the back of our Newtown Shop in the garage. Loads of candles will be available, and nothing is over $25!
All candles will have no box, so bring a bag for safe carrying your haul home.
These candles will vary with imperfections of the aesthetic kind, their hearts and scent souls are still perfect.
We can’t wait to see your smiling faces there on Saturday!

• This year, we set out to capture the unmistakable feeling of a messy smooch from Mum, spontaneous, wholehearted, and always arriving when you least expect it.
There’s something quietly profound in the comfort mothers of all kinds offer. A kind of care that resists definition, yet is instantly felt.
For us, it lives in the garden and the kitchen. In the soft trace of rose oil lingering on a sleeve at the end of the day, or the green stain of herbs pressed between fingers, gathered absentmindedly in preparation for dinner.
We wanted to create something that felt elegant yet playful, nostalgic yet entirely real.
This limited edition features a deep red wax, fragranced with tomato leaf, classic garden rose, and geranium, notes drawn from the spaces we return to most: gardens, streets, and the familiar ritual of Mum’s kitchen windowsill.
It’s a scent that feels like that smooch, a little messy, deeply comforting, and always exactly what you need, even in front of your friends. 🍅🌹🍃 •

• You all were so intrigued by our scent visualisation session, here is a small clip to wet your appetite. It’s important to us, we give you the greatest experience, not only when you take your candles home to enjoy, but of course when you visit us in store. How we share and articulate the scents, is much more than “this is fresh”.
In this session, I selected a few candles in the range, and found music to match what they intend to make you feel when they are burning.
I blind folded the girls to enhance their ability to immerse themselves in the songs. I then passed around the scents. They all visualised majestical and moving scenes inspired by the scents and songs. Combining sound and smell, and taking away sight and distraction, is a powerful tool to evoke emotion, and let our senses create pictures, and stories.
