As we celebrate our 25th birthday, we’re taking a moment to look back at the incredible journey of the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation. In this special video, you’ll hear from some of the key people who have shaped HBCF over the past 25 years—sharing their experiences, the history, and their hopes for the future of our foundation.
From our humble beginnings in 1999, thanks to the vision of Virginia & Milton Rigby, to the impactful work we do today, none of this would have been possible without the support of our amazing community. 🌟 We invite you to watch and reflect on how far we’ve come together, and to join us as we continue our mission of supporting local families navigating breast cancer. Here’s to many more years of making a difference!
Special thanks to @shot_by_bb_rad for offering to create this video for us. And thank you to everyone involved for sharing your stories. 🫶

💗 LAST YEAR WE PUT OUR HATS TOGETHER 💗
Cert Lane teamed up with the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation to launch our co-branded pink hats and thanks to the amazing support from our community, we raised an incredible $5,000 🙌
What started as a simple idea turned into something much bigger. Every hat sold helped support local families impacted by breast cancer and contributed to the amazing work being done right here in the Hunter.
A massive thank you to everyone who bought a hat, shared the campaign, or supported the cause. We’re proud to be part of a community that always shows up when it matters most 💗

Today is for every kind of motherhood, in all its forms.
Holding space for those celebrating, remembering, missing someone, or just moving gently through the day 💗
#MothersDay #HunterBreastCancerFoundation
Emma was pregnant with her son when she found a lump. What followed was a journey no family expects - a breast cancer diagnosis at 37 weeks pregnant and navigating the unknown while preparing to welcome a newborn.
While Emma focused on treatment, her partner cared for their newborn and two-year-old without family close by. That’s where we stepped in.
At Hunter Breast Cancer, we provided transport to more than 40 medical appointments which made one less thing for Emma to carry during an already overwhelming time.
This is why we do what we do.
But with 30–40 transports every week, rising fuel costs are putting pressure on our ability to keep showing up for local Hunter families.
If you’re able to support, share, or donate - it truly makes a difference 💗
