From a couple of years back, I needed to do some camera and gimbal tests before a shoot abroad. So early one very cold morning, I set out for a walk from home to the centre of Bath capturing shots on my journey. Just before Covid hit I was asked to film actors reenacting elements of the Battle of Hastings for English Heritage. The footage was used with existing event footage to promote their upcoming anniversary. Sadly not everything made makes it out into the world. This is the case for the work done for Box Steam Brewery. Various social media films and a crowdfunding video were all made but just before everything was due to go live, the business, like many breweries coming out of Covid, hit difficulties and the videos were shelved. Shortly after initial filming had been done, a quick mood board was thrown together to identify the style the films would have. About this time last year I was limbering up ready to run the Natasha Lewis 10K. But also document the day at the same time!
