Rennie Harris, āthe most brilliant hip-hop choreographer in Americaā (The New Yorker) and our 25/26 season artist-in-residence, returns with the world premiere of Losing My Religion, an exploration of the worldās constant social, economic and political turmoil through the lens of street dance and hip hop. Set to a chilling soundscape mixed live by a DJ, this new commissioned work offers a haunting narrative of personal and systemic struggle and transformation, a multifaceted reminder of our humanity.

Iāve been fortunate enough to be apart of this process beginning in 2023 in residency at The Hermitage on 5 different occasions 2023-2025 and we performed an excerpt of the work at the end of our residency at The Ringling.
I love the ocean, and we would rehearse 10 hour days at times then just sit on the beach listening to the waves. What an incredible work to be created on sacred grounds. ā¢
So excited to premier Losing My Religion at Penn Live Arts March 19th-21st.
