Based in Bend, OR, @_axel_keller_ continues to shape his life around movement, travel and time spent outdoors.
In 2025 an autoimmune disease led to the removal of his colon and a future which includes an ostomy bag.
Never one to let supposive ‘setbacks’ slow him down, Axel created ‘Project Día por Día’ (Day by Day) as a platform to share his story of resilience, connection and rebuilding a life through continuous movement in nature
His first effort, beginning June 2026, is a 5000 mile bikepacking route across the entirety of Europe lovingly named @europeandividetrail
