One year ago, I took a leap and launched Huia Business Services. I had no idea how quickly it would grow, or how many amazing people I’d get to work with along the way.
This year has been full of learning, wins, and plenty of adaptive problem-solving. Supporting businesses with clarity and confidence — it’s been a privilege to be part of your journey.

This is what hope and community look like! Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the opening of 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲, a sanctuary offering support for those grieving, particularly due to suicide. A few weeks ago, Don from 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 invited me to learn more about this incredible mental health project, and I knew I couldn't miss it. Yesterday was a truly inspiring example of community at its best.
𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 offers a short introductory horticultural course designed for those in need of a bit of love, compassion, and support, helping them grow a hedge at the top of their cliff. 🌱💚
