This week on Fellow Drops: MUMS, our collaboration with @hugoteaco . A blend of Gedeng black tea and Huangshan chrysanthemum, MUMS is delicate and mellow, clean and floral.
Blended by a man known as ‘Brother Quan,’ a 35-year veteran of old-world tea making, MUMS comes as a compressed disc, an ancient method to preserve and transport tea that originated in the Tang Dynasty in 7th century China.

Our 2026 Eclipse Set is here! Two contrasting white teas from the same mountain.
Solar, a sun-dried tea from Banzhang in the Bulang Mountains. You’ll find bold mango, honeyed florals, and grape in the cup. It’s full bodied with a rich, lingering sweetness.
Lunar, a shade-dried tea from Nannuo Mountain. It’s clean and refined showing notes of salted edamame, sweet corn, and honeydew.

Have you tried the iced strawberry lemon black tea yet? It’s bright, fruity, refreshing, and the tea is still the star of the show. Check our last post for more details!
We’re keeping the iced tea vibes rolling this week making an iced shaken black tea with a touch of strawberry and lemon to brighten it up. This is a great template to swap out your favorite teas, fruit syrups, and citrus.
What you’ll need:
* Gao Wen Black Tea
* Strawberry syrup
* Lemon juice
* Ice
How to prepare:
* Gao Wen Black concentrate*
* 30g strawberry syrup*
* 8g lemon juice
* Shake with 80g of ice and pour into a chilled glass full of ice
Gao Wen Black concentrate:
* 7g tea
* 160g 200F water
* Steep 4 minutes and filter
Strawberry Syrup:
* 3 parts fresh strawberries cut up
* 2 parts white sugar
* Macerate for 24 hours and strain

It’s hot and we can’t stop sipping iced tea. A great template for cold brewing loose leaf tea is 5g tea to 500ml water. Toss in the fridge for 12-24 hours and you’re good to go!
