GRIDIRON GEMS INITIATIVE teamed up with Bemore Empowered Foundation for Girls at the 2-week Bemore Summer Bootcamp 2025 in Ibadan, where over 40 amazing girls got their very first taste of flag football.
Alongside solar training, ICT, and other vital skills acquisition programs, the girls hit the field and in just 4 days of practice, they went from learning the rules, roles and routes to running real plays.
The scrimmage? Pure electricity — focus, agility, tactics, team spirit and that “we came to win” energy!
New talents were born, confidence soared and the field came alive — that’s the true spirit of Flag Football.
