After the race we cooled off next to the river with some beers and barbecues, then did a few races and a couple of competitions
@backwheelmashing took first prize for the Hardcore being the first back, with all locations found as well as one extra 🤣

For #alleyjorvik2025, athletes were given an old tourist map of the centre of York, with all major street names removed.
The race had 2 categories;
- Hardcore, fixed only, 25 checkpoints
- Normal, any bike, 10 checkpoints
Athletes had to get a selfie with each of the checkpoints, which were medieval sites, then get back to the start point at the Pikeing Well, with the winner being the fastest and most accurate

It's always a good day at Hubjub when a customer sends in a photo of their ride; especially when it's as fabulous as this 1961 Freddie Grubb! The owner asked if I had a chainring to fit. I don't, but if you have one to sell let me know and I'll put you in touch. It's 116mm BCD, 3 arms, 1/8", 47T (give or take a tooth).
