With SOCO Hotel on its way out, we’re shifting to the east side — Floppy Disko presents First Thursday @ East End Ballroom starting June 4th at 7PM. This’ll be one of the biggest outdoor parties we’ve thrown yet, and on a beautiful east side stage. Come for the sound, the music, and the good vibes. Back in January an ice storm hit Austin and forced a rescheduling of @hubbble and @drdakmusic spinning records at @marlow.bar . Out Now - Hubbble - “ Pop That “ 🥭 Peep #LinkinBio @hubbble is a wax collector, bassist, and DJ based out of Austin with a well trained ear for samples, cultural classics from various genres. “Pop That” stems from Hubbble reminiscing on a night in Miami where he learned a particularly colorful expression. The phrase? You guessed it, “Pop that P***y - Real Quick“ - an expression the boys later find out meant take a U-Turn at one’s sole discretion. There is another story in there - something about a papaya - but that’s a one you’ll have to ask a Floppy Krew member about whenever you see them bopping around town.
