Drew High School in San Francisco hired us to help them re-think their brand positioning. What we found was pretty remarkable: Drew has carefully constructed a culture that removes barriers to learning and actually makes high school a pleasant experience for the students. It almost made us want to go back to high school ourselves. Almost.

Amplitude came to us with a campaign concept and a desire to create a video with corresponding visuals to bring the campaign to life. Working with the robots was the only way we could pull off what was needed within their budget. So, we used AI to create all of the stills and the video for the campaign. Check it out.

Happy Earth Day! We dug into our archives and found our favorite earth-friendly project ever: we designed and built a life sized blue whale (82 feet long), created out of hand-recycled plastic trash to raise awareness about plastic in the ocean for the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Here’s a new piece of creative that’s part of a paid social campaign for our long-time client, Stanford Medicine Children's Health. For about a decade, they've been a great partner in making appropriately fun creative work in a category known for it's seriousness.

We're happy to announce the brand-spanking new website that we designed for UCSF School of Dentistry is live. Working within the brand guidelines, we gave the site a fresh, new look. We worked closely with the UCSF team to organize and tell their (very impressive) story. And a special shout out to our dev partner, White Rabbit Group for an awesome collaboration.

Spring training is going on right now, so we couldn’t help but think of the Oakland A’s who we worked with for 8 seasons and shot almost all of the spots during spring training. While we’re not happy that the organization left the Bay Area, these campaigns will live in our head rent free for many years to come. #hubsanfrancisco #oaklandas

Try saying “craniosynostosis” five times fast. Here is one of the social ads we created for Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. #hubsanfrancisco #stanfordmedicinechildrenshealth

Ok, we can’t let a Super Bowl and all the glorious ads pass without posting our favorite (and only) Super Bowl ad we created with Eat 24 and Snoop Dogg back in the day. #hubsanfrancisco

Well, we’re not happy that the 60th Super Bowl will not include the 49ers. But we are happy that it’s at Levi’s Stadium. We had the pleasure of creating the Niner’s very first ad campaign when they opened the stadium ten years ago. #hubsanfrancisco

Here’s the latest campaign for our longstanding client, Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. This year’s campaign focused on the excellence and world-class expertise only available at Stanford. And as usual got to work with some pretty cute kids. Stay tuned for much more to come! #hubsanfrancisco #stanfordmedicinechildrenshealth

At HUb we love to use humor to connect with our client’s customers, and this year was no exception. We featured a 5th century warlord as an anti-spokesman for Star One Credit Union and a bunch of ten year olds terrorizing a CISO for Illumio. We walked the fine line of using humor and warmth to talk about children’s specialty care for Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. For Amplitude, we dabbled with AI to create images that would be impossible to do without a gazillion dollar budget. We helped a high school find their voice and their swagger, and we continue to do fun work with long time clients like ThredUp and Tarlton. Thanks to our clients for allowing us to do work that’s never run of the mill or expected. #2025recap #hubsanfrancisco

Who the hell is Victoria? She's our resident Russian, for a start. She's also behind most of what keeps HUb running.
