Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you were trying to make something work, but every corner you turned BOOM an obstacle? That was me two weeks ago, trying to do what I do and to organize the event God instructed me to do 3 years ago. What was I missing ??? He had given me the vision, but there were no provisions. I felt exhausted trying to fit pieces together that didn’t match. I’m a professional problem solver, but this time, as my own client, I had no answers.
When I returned to the drawing board (God) I said, “Have Your way… I don’t want to do this anymore.” He answered me in a complete sentence and said, “Ask me, and not them.” Suddenly, things started to fall into place. I wasn’t so stressed anymore, my hunger pains weren’t as severe, and everything began to flow naturally, just like it usually does.
I say all this to remind you that God will provide the vision, but in everything you do, reference Him, confide in Him, and talk to Him. He will give you direction, resources, and perfect peace. This year, my experience of “Going BACKOUTSIDE WITH PURPOSE” took on a transformative meaning. It wasn’t just a return; it was a revival fueled by the lessons learned along the way. From unexpected venue changes and service cancellations to vendor mishaps, it felt like the universe was throwing everything it could at me. Yet, in those moments of uncertainty, I found clarity.
Let’s not forget that challenges often come to test us, but what God has ordained for us cannot be derailed by obstacles. Each setback became a stepping stone, each twist and turn an opportunity to grow stronger and more determined.
I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from my community—without you, none of this would have been possible. Together, we’ve shown that with faith, resilience, and the courage to pivot, we can achieve great things and inspire others along the way.
So let this be a reminder: when life pushes you to the edge, don’t fear the pivot. Embrace it! Stand firm in your purpose, lean on your support network, and hold fast to faith. The best is yet to come! 🤏🏾✨
