New poem in Muzzle Magazine. Grateful to @brittanyerogers for selecting it, to the gallery attendant who told me the Merz story when we were on a Dia union's negotiating committee together, to everyone out there keeping the poetics of hating cops alive every day. Check your friends for ticks. Link in the bio for audio and some amazing poems in the spring issue.

grateful to @theshorepoetry for publishing "Badlands" in their most recent issue. grateful for the human capacity to grow and heal, even if we will always be, even after so many years, a little bit strangers to each other and ourselves. swipe to read the poem and see me, 8 years ago, overcome with wonder at a herd of bison.

Anyone who knows me knows I love the poet Demetrius "Meech" Buckley. Last March, I had the honor of serving as the witness at his wedding. Today, I am profoundly honored that he included a close reading of my poem "Love Language" in his essay on line breaks and prison lines in the new issue of Annulet. /Demetrius-Buckley-Along-the-Lines

Wow what an honor to be given the award for the world's horniest poem about beach trash. Thank you to the seagull committee for the nomination. Thank you @thetexasreview for giving it a home. Thank you @lauracreste for the photo. Thanks to @zeynepozakat for the astrological inspiration and @im_an_oil_man for inspiring my love of garbage. Thanks @andmollys for braving the coywolves with me. I will be donating my prize money to Taylor Swift's private jet.
