The Lakehouse is under construction!
Despite frigid temperatures reaching below negative with wind-chill, the framing crew has been hard at work reconstructing everything above the existing first floor. Our design balances wide open views toLake Erie while staying contextually relevant to the neighboring residences.
The project should be dried in before the end of February. More photography and new projects to come!

We are very excited to announce that HR Dept. Studio is officially open as a recognized Architecture & Design Firm in the state of Ohio.
Between 2020-2022, we were fortunate enough to be awarded a handful of small 'sideprojects' that gave way for initial conception of HR. Dept. Studio. After a number of successful projects and happy clients, our name spread by word of mouth alone. Now in the beginning of 2025, we are excited to announce that we are now a full fledged architecture and design firm located in Columbus with a single goal: To provide quality design with people in mind.

Renderings for a Kitchen Redesign/Renovation. In this design, we combined the existing kitchen and dining room into one, for a bigger, entertaining-friendly kitchen. The new dining space is relocated to the unused front room, which also houses a new walk-in pantry.
