“Freaks” 1946 Knucklehead
Here’s a little montage one of my closest brothers did for his portfolio & the sake of documenting this beast. Freak was the name of an ol’ local hound that was a hog addict like the rest of us. Patched up since the 60s, this was his Honey. A raw piece of American Iron that he cared enough to preserve the span of a lifetime.
Last year a hunt for a shovelhead lead me to his place , no cell phone. You walked in his cave and it was an old 1970s-1980s rotary wall phone & a fridge from 1950. Shag Carpet. You’ll remember these things because he had to make a call when you get there & his beer was colder than a glacier. Pictures of him and the ol’ club lined the wall. It’s the small things.
& no bullshit, this 46 was covered in dust under blanket in the dark corner. He insisted I don’t want it and it’ll cost more than the shovelhead I’s was lookin’ at. The rest of the conversation is left to the discretion of heart.
Like it had been neglected for years. Itching for its new life. They’ll whisper your name, & for the true dogs? That’s a wrap. Your ear won’t stop ringing & your heart rate gets a slight increase for a few days, a few weeks, maybe even a few years….
Thrill of The Hunt.
This bike wouldn’t have been possible without my uncle either. It sounds cliche but to grow up with thick grungy biker uncles was a gift that can’t be put in words. My Dad included.
Thankful for brothers like @a.fro_perspective who filmed this whole sequence , & some more to come , sacrificing his dedicated time to help put Freaks Knucklehead in a light. Hopefully we get some more of these out soon with some narration from The Wolf-Man & small snippets of the grind.
Bikes, Weddings, Family Photos? @a.fro_perspective Aaron has got a vision that clearly coincides with these same interests.
THANK YOU, AARON
Thanks for watching , Freaks ❤️
PS you know she’s got a secret recipe to kick her over right. lol always gotta clear the carb , 2 wake ups and 3rd kick is always golden. Never misses a beat.
I’m not gonna play it off like I’m a master….im in over my head with this bike, but guess what? Who cares
This one-owner original paint 1972 Harley sat abandoned in a barn for nearly 40 years before returning to the road.
Sounds exaggerated…until the photos come out 🎞️📸
God Bless America.
1978 FLH Shovelhead • $3899 TITLED
Shifts good , compression strong
A raw old Harley that never tried too hard to impress anybody. Black paint. White walls. Factory tins still carrying the right stance. Not running at the moment, but an honest platform with a lot of presence left in it.
The kind of motorcycle that looks better with age, dust, and stories attached to it.
The old king/queen seat alone feels like a time capsule…and hidden underneath is a neat little built-in stash compartment that somehow survived the last 45+ years.
Just an old war machine waiting for the next guy to wake it back up.
Perfect candidate for a rider revival, period-correct preservation build, or stripped-down outlaw shovel.
DELIVERY : YES JUST ASK
1980 Harley-Davidson FX with Sidecar.
Factory black original paint paired with a period sidecar setup that just flat-out works with the bike. Honest old Harley presence without looking overdone or restored to death.
The motor was professionally rebuilt and currently has roughly 150 miles since completion. Strong runner, fresh mechanically, while still carrying the age and soul people actually want in an original machine.
This one was intended to stay here in the collection for a long time. But according to my boss, my son, it’s “too loud near his ears.” Truthfully, the bike is simply too clean and too original for me to comfortably keep putting miles on it.
The sidecar changes the entire experience. It turns fuel stops into conversations and every short ride into an event. It also has an amazing rear trunk that actually makes the bike practical for trips, shows, and weekend runs.
And whether people admit it or not. Women absolutely love the sidecar. Everywhere this thing goes, it draws attention.
Rare to find one that still feels like an authentic old Harley instead of a heavily modernized project.
A real-deal survivor style machine with fresh mechanical work already handled. Not restored. Not fluffed up. Just a very honest 1980 FX with sidecar and the right look.

Replied to maybe 50% of you this week, I have these kids who keep coming in with their bike problems and they know I like to be paid in food & drinks.
But I managed to get my own personal bike out finally AND get this bike back from the crypt! Not running since 1995! First Throttle Cracks! The owner basically cryogenically froze this bike lol albeit the points & condenser
Yeah you read correctly “ May 8 finally got my bike out “ been so F busy , thank you all for entrusting me with your money, time & business. I’m nothing without yall & my family. True old school pop shop sometimes I don’t answer the phone sometimes I do but I’m always workin’ ….just ask my neighbors who have to hear loud pipes at 3 AM.
Don Cole was a LOCAL LEGEND who worked on OLD Harley’s until his timely death at 104 years old. My Mom , Dad & all my uncles paid him with Cheetos & Dr Pepper.

Enjoy Eric Claptons 1974 hit “I Shot The Sheriff” ….but I can’t give credit without mentioning Bob Marley. Ironically, Claptons cover put Marley on the world stage.

I was going to play a hit from 1966 but I used to live in NorCal at this spot we called Thugz Mansion. It had a million dollar view with a hot tub , used to sit for hours in it & listen to this tune with some wine and joints.
