Blackeye is a regular feature at Rupture, where I first heard him, with previous bookings on label showcases from Metalheadz, AKO and Hardware. With a background including a series of radio residencies, his tone and mic presence is top-tier and we can't wait to welcome him tomorrow!

It is a real pleasure of mine to invite legend of the scene @stevedigital down from Ipswich to play for us, for a rare 100% vinyl set that is not to be missed!
Digital is the creator of Function Records and co-creator of Phantom Audio alongside Spirit, with a sound that shaped the progression of Metalheadz in the 90s along with his other releases on labels such as C.I.A, Creative Source and Timeless. I first heard him play at Rupture and was hooked from start to finish.
Along with DJ Flight, Digital was one of the first people on my list when I planned out where I wanted How It Started to go, so I cannot wait and I guarantee you this will be something special!

Having lived there for a number of years, SHAWK has made waves with their soulful selections, with upcoming dates alongside Winslow and TC.

What's upppp! Really excited to be returning with another How It Started event and this one is gonna be deep and groovy! Really excited to have all the other talents down on Friday.
I created How It Started two years ago with a goal of sharing some records with mates and celebrating the vinyl format. I'm so grateful for everyone for sticking with me as it's organically grown!
It's been a while since I've properly listened through my collection and I've been finding some real gems. I'll be rolling out at the end after Digital and Blackeye MC with a mix of groovy, breaky DnB with some heavier cuts sprinkled in. Save some energy!
